Ballinrobe Musical Society is delighted to announce details of our upcoming production for 2012.  After much discussion it was decided that Disney’s Beauty and The Beast would be the next show to be undertaken by Ballinrobe Musical Society.  Beauty and The Beast is based on the film of the same name and the Broadway production became the eighth-longest running production in history.  It features some beautiful and well-loved songs such as Be Our Guest and Beauty and The Beast.   For the past number of years Ballinrobe Musical Society have been kindly hosted by Ballinrobe Community School. The gymnasium becomes a building site as the stage crew begin construction on the set from late December each year. By mid February the school hall is transformed into a 500-seat theatre. The school is located on the Convent Road in Ballinrobe, Co Mayo. The theatre is accessible for disabled patrons. Use of all cameras and recording equipment strictly forbidden in auditorium.
