THE countdown is now well underway to our Society’s production of the Disney classic, Beauty and The Beast, which begins on Sunday, February 12 at Ballinrobe Community School.
Rehearsals have been taking place since before Christmas and our large, enthusiastic and highly-motivated cast and crew are really looking forward to hitting the stage again.
Beauty and The Beast will run for seven nights (February 12 to 18 inclusive), beginning at 8pm in the BCS auditorium.
There will also be a new family rate available for the Sunday and Tuesday performances.
Among those who have signed up for another season of singing, dancing and high jinks are Niall Conway, Sinead Heneghan, Seamus Mac Eachmharcaigh, Laura Rochford, Siobhan Campbell, Mike Ansbro, Padraic Costello and Grainne McConnell.
We’re also delighted to welcome Brendan Duignan after his brief sabattical!
The Society has also managed to sign up some new recruits for Beauty and the Beast with James and Catherine Conway all set to join their brother, Niall, on stage.
Sadhbh Langan has also come on board and is sure to make a big impression on audiences over the course of the week.
There are plenty of familiar faces among our production team again this year as Peter Kennedy (Director), John Roe (Musical Director) and Aoife McClafferty (Choreographer) are all lending their considerable talents to us once more.
A new addition to the team for this production is Martha O’Toole who joins us as Chorus Coach.
Tickets will be going on sale in the usual outlets in the near future.
Check back here for more details soon.

Really looking forward to it
